"Medical and Aromatic Plant Cultivation Course" Concludes in the Capital: Participants Received Ministry of National Education Approved Certificates

The "Medical and Aromatic Plant Cultivation Course," organized in collaboration with the ABB Rural Services Department and Gölbaşı Public Education Center, has concluded. At the end of the comprehensive training, which lasted 10 days and 72 hours in total, participants received certificates approved by the Ministry of National Education (MEB).

"The Story of Green Has Been Written in the Steppe"

The training took place at ABB's Ata Farm (BAKAP). Throughout the course, participants acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge on a wide range of medicinal plants, from their identification and cultivation to harvesting and processing techniques and marketing processes.

Hüseyin Şemsi Uysal , Head of the ABB Rural Services Department, emphasized the importance of the course, saying, "We were truly honored to hold this training at Ata Farm, where the story of greenery in the steppe was written." Uysal stated that the course not only equips participants with professional skills but also with an awareness of being in touch with nature and contributing to the national economy.

ATA Farm Will Be Both a Production and Training Center

Ahmet Mekin Tüzün , Deputy Secretary General of the ABB, stated that Ata Farm will become not only a production center but also a training and branding institution. Tüzün stated that the course was completed successfully and that such training will be expanded and reinforced with subject-based supplementary courses in the future.

The Certificate Provides Advantages in European Union Grants

Agricultural Engineer Abdülkadir Arslan stated that the course was very beneficial for the participants. Arslan explained that the Ministry of National Education (MEB)-approved certificate is processed in the e-Government system and provides an additional 10 points in European Union grants . Arslan noted that the quota of 55 students attracted significant interest, and 20 were hosted as guests. He added that 55 participants who received certificates have graduated.

Satisfaction and Thanks from Trainees

Participants in the training expressed their satisfaction with the training they received. Hayriye Rendan stated that the course was "like a cure" for her and offered hope to unemployed young people, while Havva Ayanoğlu, an agricultural engineer from Istanbul, emphasized that she received far more than she expected from the training. Satı Yıldırım and aspiring female entrepreneur Tuğba Onur Dalgöğüsoğlu from Çorum also thanked the municipality for this valuable organization.
